Octa Calendrier — Ruthenium

The Octa Calendrier is the calendar-complication expression of the Octa platform. The retrograde date hand sweeps the right side of the dial, with day and month apertures at the bottom. The calendar requires a single correction every 365 days — a true annual calendar in the Journe style, achieved without the complexity of a perpetual mechanism. The ruthenium dial — a treatment Journe uses sparingly in production — combines a brushed silver base with a vapour-deposited ruthenium coating, creating a dial that shifts from grey to deep charcoal depending on light angle.
